Smile – it’s summer!
Head chef Jakub Fijak has been busy in the kitchen putting some fantastic seasonal produce into the menu and his new dishes for summer officially launch this week.
There are lots of reasons to be cheerful this summer with loads of the good stuff to tuck into here at the pub – air-dried Dorset pork, classic farm-made English cheeses, sparkling Cornish mackerel and sardines, the freshest and best strawberries and raspberries and refreshing Sipsmith’s Summer Cup, a glorious take on a summer Pimm’s that’s fruity, full-strength and delicious.
Jakub’s also got plenty of good reasons to be cheerful. His delightful Dip Your Own asparagus dish has been flying out of the door every day of the asparagus season this year. It’s a fun and fabulous way to enjoy this great British produce – delicate spears presented on your own individual board ready to dunk into a pot of tasty home-made Hollandaise sauce, grated egg and Parmesan.
